HOW TO USE SPREAD SHEET
i have provide two method or two way of designing RCC short column.
1. first one is use when we provide steel as a percentage of concrete.
2. second one is use when we know size of column or limited size of column.
INPUT DATA FOR FIRST METHOD/WAY
you have to put following data in first method/way. ( I have mention input data as a RED COLOR in Spread sheet)
- Axial Compressive Load on Column
- Grade of Concrete (Fck)
- Grade of Steel (fy)
- % of Steel in Concrete
- ratio of L/B
- Diameter of main Steel
- Number of main Bars
- Diameter of lateral Ties
OUTPUT DATA FOR FIRST MWTHOD/WAY
after putting input data you will get following output data
- Numbers of bars needed
- Pitch distance of lateral ties
- Diameter of lateral tie needed
- Diameter of main bars needed
INPUT DATA FOR SECOND METHOD/WAY
you have to put following data in second method/way. ( I have mention input data as a RED COLOR in Spread sheet)
- Axial Compressive Load on Column
- Grade of Concrete (Fck)
- Grade of Steel (fy)
- length of column
- Width of column
- Diameter of main Steel
- Number of main Bars
- Diameter of lateral Ties
OUTPUT DATA FOR SECOND MWTHOD/WAY
after putting input data you will get following output data
- Numbers of bars needed
- Pitch distance of lateral ties
- Diameter of lateral tie needed
- Diameter of main bars needed
